Scope

This policy applies to the NameCentury mobile app and the web app at namecentury.us/app, including chat, groups, live video, feed, and marketplace features.

Information we collect

• Account: name, email address, password (stored securely), profile information you provide.
• Content you create: posts, messages, group participation, photos, videos, and files you choose to upload.
• Device permissions: camera and microphone when you join live video or share media; notifications if you enable alerts.
• Technical data: device type, browser or app version, IP address, and logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

• Provide and improve chat, groups, live video, feed, and marketplace features.
• Authenticate your account and keep your session secure.
• Send service-related notices (for example account or security alerts).
• Enforce our community guidelines and respond to abuse reports.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share data only when you choose to share content with other users, when required by law, or with service providers that help us host and operate the platform under confidentiality obligations.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and content data while your account is active. We may retain limited records where required by law.

Account deletion (Google Play Data safety): use the public page https://namecentury.us/delete-account.html (no app install required). Email thien@namecentury.us with subject Account deletion — NameCentury. We complete deletion within 30 days after identity verification.

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children

NameCentury is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

Your choices

• You control what you post and share in messages and groups.
• You may deny camera or microphone permission; some live or media features will not work without them.
• You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by email.
