Free plugin. Visitors click Chat on your website → you reply in the Social NameCentury app. No coding required.

Download the plugin ZIP

  1. Sign up / sign in: namecentury.us/app
  2. Open Developer → Embed & Share
  3. Click Download WordPress / WooCommerce ZIP
Get download link (after login) Direct ZIP download

File name: namecentury-chat-wordpress.zip — inside you must see namecentury-chat/namecentury-chat.php.

Before you start

Install with ZIP (recommended)

Download namecentury-chat-wordpress.zip (see above).

Log in to WordPress Admin: https://your-domain.com/wp-admin

Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → choose the ZIP → Install Now → Activate Plugin.

Go to Settings → NameCentury Chat → enable chat → enter your site/store name → Save.

Open your public homepage (not Admin). You should see a blue Chat button. Start a test chat, then open Social → group Chat Support to reply.

Done — no HTML to paste.

Install with FTP / File Manager

Use if ZIP upload fails.

  1. Unzip the download on your computer.
  2. Upload the folder namecentury-chat to wp-content/plugins/namecentury-chat/
  3. In Plugins, click Activate.
  4. Continue from Settings (step 4 above).

Where do you reply?

Device Open
Android Social NameCentury app → Chat Support
Computer namecentury.us/app → Groups → Chat Support

Visitors chat on your website. You reply in the Social app — not inside WordPress Admin.

Common problems

Issue Fix
No Chat button Plugin Activated? Settings → Enable chat? Viewing public homepage?
Start chat fails Check internet; ask host if namecentury.us is blocked.
No phone alerts Sign in as staff in Social → Chat Support → allow notifications.
ZIP upload error Use FTP method or raise host upload limit.
